Size 40 is right for Sanna. In size 40, the length is good and the width is just right. Sanna has a narrow heel, so at first the shoes felt loose at the heel. But tightening the laces improved this situation significantly. Sanna also tested that this model has nicely long laces, so there is room to loosen them quite a bit or, on the contrary, to tighten them. So the fit can be adjusted very well!
